FINAL PRODUCT
When you enter, you’ll find yourself in a normal classroom. However, the teacher can transport their students to strange new places and do impossible things.
It allows for the typical classroom experience and more, all from the comfort of your own home.
BRINGING THE IDEA TO LIFE
As online school became a necessity during the global pandemic, the need for a better online learning system had become clear.
The Virtual Classroom prototype embodies the vision for a more immersive, interactive online classroom. The virtual design principles break the restraints of a normal classroom and allow students to be more engaged with the subject.
The Doodle People was tasked with bringing this vision to life and creating a working prototype for the Oculus Quest Virtual Reality Headset.
As of now, this prototype is pending its first pilot test with the official support of Facebook’s Oculus team. In the near future it will be tested in USC classrooms, and if successful it may find its way to classrooms all over the world.
